This full review of the Goplus 2 in 1 folding treadmill gives you everything you need to know about a treadmill that is great for walking and folds up flat.

I never thought a treadmill was an option for me, as we are very low on storage space. However, when the Coronavirus quarantine hit and I couldn't leave the house for several months I became desperate to find a solution.

I learned that compact folding treadmills existed (Who knew?!) and began to dive deep into the research. My main criteria were:

  • must fold up completely flat for storage
  • must be sufficient for power walking
  • should cost $300-$600
  • and must have good reviews overall.

But, because my husband is a runner, I did also research options for runners. I found them to run about double the price and be far less compact.

Based on my specific criteria mentioned above, I landed on one and only one treadmill that best suited these needs: this specific Goplus 2 in 1 folding treadmill.

I have been using it for about three months now and post below my full review of the the Goplus 2 in 1 folding treadmill, including specifications, weight, weight limit, assembly details, pros, cons and buying tips.

I had worried the size of the Goplus 2 in 1 folding treadmill would be too small, and looked at sizes of other models to compare. In actuality, it's just fine in size, and I think most adults would find the size to be ok for them.

70 pounds. The Goplus 2 in 1 folding treadmill is heavy for sure, but it's pretty easy to move around at the same time. I am a petite female and I can easily move it around and set it up in less than a minute each time I use it.

That being said, if you have children, I STRONGLY recommend you tether it to the wall, if you plan on storing it in a standing position.

Weight Limit

265 lbs

The Goplus 2 in 1 folding treadmill comes in a box, with a smaller box of component parts and tools. I'm no pro at setting things up, and it only took me about 5 minutes to set up.

A review of the Goplus 2 in 1 folding treadmill wouldn't be complete without my personal opinion on the pros and cons.

First, the pros: The Goplus 2 in 1 folding treadmill totally met my personal needs. Assembly was very simple and the total assembly time was only about five minutes. Each time I use it, it only takes a few seconds to set up beforehand and store again afterward.

It's pretty quiet, and I just turn the tv up a bit while I am walking. It's definitely a lot quiter than other treadmills I have used.

I think this treadmill is excellent for light walking, power walking and slowly jogging.

It also completely met my needs for folding up completely flat for storage. I simply did not install the "arms" that came with it, so that it folds flat. And, you can use it with the bar up or down.

I found the price to be reasonable comparatively speaking.

Lastly, I love that it securely holds your cellphone and can be connected to the speaker via bluetooth.

Although the Goplus 2 in 1 folding treadmill moves around pretty easily when handled by an adult, it still weighs 70 pounds and, if you have children and plan on storing it vertically, I very strongly recommend you tether it to the wall.

If you want the arms on AND you want to fold it up flat you need to re-install the arms each time. I personally don't care about the arms, so I just never installed them and this works fine for me.

While this treadmill is great for walking and slowly jogging, it's not meant for running (Max. speed is 3 miles per hour). The 2.25hp makes it more compact, quieter and cheaper. If you want to run, you will need a larger hp, and I found that those options run about double the price and are less compact. It just depends on your needs.

Lastly, please be aware the weight capacity is 265 lbs.

Buying Tips

Amazon sometimes sells the Goplus 2 in 1 folding treadmill well below the list price, and there are often "extra savings" promotions you can also apply. So, if you see these deals and are interested, grab the Goplus 2 in 1 folding treadmill!
