Get the best Harry Potter and the Cursed Child quotes from the stage play to transport you back to the wizarding world and teach you something meaningful about friendship, bravery, the past, and so much more.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is *technically* not part of the original Harry Potter books. But, rather, it is a stage play that picks up the story of Harry Potter decades later, as Harry's son Albus Severus Potter attends Hogwarts and befriends Draco Malfoy's son, Scorpius Malfoy.

This next generation of wizards travels in time to save Harry's old classmate, Cedric Diggory. And as Albus Severus embarks on his own wizarding journey, painful memories of Harry's past are resurrected and discord develops between Harry and his son.

The following Harry Potter and the Cursed Child quotes are actually my favorites from any Harry Potter book. I think this is because the passage of time allows the beloved original series characters to reflect back on the past and what Harry's quest against Voldemort meant.

While these quotes continue to reflect themes of friendship, bravery, love, and light and darkness, as they did in the original book series, characters also reveal things like their motivations at that time, which brings closure to the story.

Besides the characters mentioned above, the below Harry Potter and the Cursed Child quotes also come from beloved characters like Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Professor McGonagall, Severus Snape, Albus Dumbledore, Amos Diggory, and more.
